Ann Paton
General Manager
Ann is our General Manager and is responsible for supporting the directors of the company as well as the producers and others staff to serve our customers and clients. She keeps us ticking over and compliant as well as taking a strategic view for the business. She is a Chartered Accountant and started out with the Gibson Group in May 2015 as our Company Accountant. She brings a wealth of accounting, financial and business knowledge to the group.
Ann returned to Wellington from Melbourne to join the Gibson Group. In Melbourne she provided a range of financial and other business advice to small and medium sized business and was a co-founder of Cornish College, an independent school in Melbourne.
Prior to that Ann predominantly worked in corporate banking and treasury accounting for Westpac in Wellington and Bank of America in San Francisco.
Ann started her career with Ernst & Young in Wellington.
