A Ticket To Paradise? Gibson Group exhibition examines the story behind Australia’s Post WWII migration.

Another Gibson Group interactive experience has been delivered, this time for the National Archives of Australia in Canberra. A Ticket To Paradise? examines the rich diversity of Australian immigrants and the government encouragement of mass migration post World War II. You can read more about this project here.

Created to enable visitors to explore historical patterns as well as human experiences of migration, A Ticket To Paradise? uses official statistics, personal testimony, photographs and memorabilia to tell the story of Australia's development through migration. 

The Gibson Group was responsible for the interactive experiences of this touring exhibition, the highlight of which is a special interactive globe featuring both curated and visitor generated personal stories of migration. Visitors use a custom built application loaded onto iPads to share their migration experiences via interview prompts or they can upload their stories from home using the Destination Australia website.
