El Paso Touchcity Project wins Silver Best Award

22/10/2015

The New Zealand Best Awards have recognised our interactive exhibition ‘TouchCity’ in El Paso, Texas with a Silver Best award! We are ridiculously proud to have won an award in the category of New Zealand’s Best Interactive Design Application, and even prouder of the amazing ‘TouchCity’ project in El Paso, Texas.

“We are honoured to be recognised by our peers in the design industry at these prestigious awards,” says Brett Tompkins, Senior Producer in the Visitor Experiences team at the Gibson Group.  “The project in El Paso is the second of what we hope will be many ‘TouchCity’ installations around the world.”

‘TouchCity’ is an international award-winning creative technology that allows multiple users to explore the past, present, and future of their city on a massive interactive touchscreen wall. To find out more about our TouchCity project click here.

This Best Award comes shortly after The El Paso project won Best Exhibit Technology Award from the Mountain-Plains Museum Association in the states, so you can imagine our excitement.

A huge thank you to The Designers Institute of New Zealand and the Best Awards 2015.
