Bookenz is a magazine-style information programme about books, writers, readers and the book industry in New Zealand and around the world. From lively, informative reviews, debates and interviews through to readers' views on the best books around, Bookenz keeps viewers informed from cover to cover. Bookenz is for readers, not just writers. It's for people who buy and borrow books, not just the literary community.

Produced by Gordon Harcourt and hosted by noted New Zealand author Kate De Goldi, Bookenz is a half-hour programme featuring interviews with local and visiting authors from reporter Mark Crysell, reviews of a diverse range of titles by studio guests, the latest publishing news as well as discussion of the issues and ideas circulating in the book industry in New Zealand and overseas.

Bookenz is supported by a website containing a programme synopsis, further information about the programme and a comprehensive series of links to book related websites.
