Rachel Dustbins Dog and the Law

01/01/1985

Description

Once upon a time there was a small peaceful, sleepy little country. But the day Rachel Dustbin found a small puppy and took him home, was the day the peace ended. The neighbours formed a noisy dog committee and wrote a letter to parliament suggesting a new law. A bill was passed but the opposition argued it because the noisy dog attracted so many tourists.

The law went through anyway because the opposition was out numbered and the Head of State signed the Act before Rachel could get to him to protest. But that was OK, because the grouchiest neighbour went fishing with the judge on Thursday afternoons, so the noisy dog could entertain the tourists for half a day a week.
