A look behind the scenes of Wellington's red light district in Vivian Street. Performers at "Tiffany's Strip Club" are interviewed , as well the club's owner, Brian Le Gros. Across the street is "The Nutcracker", a very late night coffee bar where the owner Chris Witoko talks about her business. Down the road is another of Chris Witoko's clubs "The Evergreen" coffee lounge. Early in the evening, she lets the gay community use it as a drop in centre before it is open to paying customers. Interview with a homosexual couple. Interview with trans sexual street workers about their lives and the threat of AIDS etc. There are scenes of them later stripping in "Club Exotic". Interview with Vice Squad officers.
