A captivating interactive that encourages visitor participation.
Face Up is an interactive experience that celebrates Australia’s democracy and the power of the people’s voice within it.
It was created for the Museum of Australian Democracy following a request for an interactive that would encourage visitor participation while complementing the historic architecture of the King’s Hall at heritage listed Old Parliament House.
A series of projections greet the visitor, each one featuring a chorus of historical and contemporary political portraits sitting within provocations that appear out of the architecture.
Visitors are encouraged to add their voice to the democratic chorus by sending selfies to the individual projections via a social media platform, essentially voting for the concept, quality or idea that resonates most with them.
